Text Message Reminders

mobile phoneMOBILE TELEPHONES AND TEXT MESSAGING

At Trescobeas Surgery we take the security and confidentiality of your personal data very seriously.  We do ask patients for their mobile telephone numbers and we use these to send text message reminders to patients of appointments.  Occasionally we will also use the text service to remind patients about things such as flu jabs.

We use the text reminder service to try and ensure that patients do attend their appointments and we know that this service does help ensure that this happens.

If you are happy to receive texts, please make sure that we have your correct number recorded on our systems, to ensure that we are sending reminders to the correct number.

If you don't want to receive text messages from the Practice, please speak to one of the Reception team, and advise them of your decision.  We don't mind if you don't want to receive texts, but we need you to tell us.
