C-Card

If you are aged between 13 and 24 you are entitled to free condoms through the ‘Your C-Card’ scheme. To access this service you will need to sign up at any C-Card registration point, after discussing some sexual health issues with a C-Card worker in private (you can locate your nearest venue by using the ‘find venue’ tab on the C-Card website).

To register for the C-Card scheme at Trescobeas Surgery you will first need a 10 minute appointment with the nurse before you can collect a free condom pack. You are able to use your card 6 times if over 16 or 3 times if aged 13 to 15, before you will need to renew your card at a C-Card registration point.

Under 13 or Over 24?

If you’re under 13 or over 24 you can’t register with the C-Card scheme. But if you need help or advice regarding sexual health you can use the information provided on the website.

As well as contraceptive advice, C-Card are also able to issue Chlamydia screening kits to 15-24 year olds. The test is free and is also confidential. So unless you give permission, no one else will know that you have been tested.
