Travel Vaccinations

If you require any vaccinations relating to foreign travel, please contact the surgery for further information. Alternatively you can visit the MASTA website, NaTHNaC website or Boots who can also offer advice. They will need to know which countries and areas within countries that you are visiting to determine what vaccinations are required.

It is important to make this initial appointment as early as possible – at least 8 weeks before you travel – as a second appointment may be required and certain vaccines need to be administered 2 weeks before you travel to provide cover.

Some travel vaccines are ordered on a private prescription and at present we cannot offer these. Through the NHS we can offer the following travel vaccines:

Hepatitis A

Tetanus

Diphtheria

Polio

Typhoid

Cholera
